Anchorage???

Coit Tower from the Embarcadero.

Pier 39 is where the cruise ships dock.
Hungry? If so it's your own damned fault.

The only instance of the famous fog was just ending as I got to the bay on the first morning.

This was my first view of the Golden Gate Bridge
Alcatraz Island when the fog lifted.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company.
San Francisco point of embarkation. (Embarcadero). This is where the troops who were deployed to the South Pacific departed from.

The Golden Gate Bridge as seen from Crissy Field with the protected wetlands in the foreground.  The black bird in the middle of the water is a cormoranth which was happily diving for whatever cormoranths dive for.

The bridge from the top of Fort Point, just about 1/2 mile from actually getting ON the bridge.

Some fat guy who looks like me standing in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.

From the bridge.
From the Marin County Headlands at Battery Spencer.
